During the time we were rebuilding our original bloodlines we also purchased females from breeders we believed could enhance our breeding programmes.
Many of these females have added great strength and depth to our herd.
—————————————— FEMALES Kenmere Charolais has focused on breeding genetic lines of females with moderate frames, great milk and strong maternal tracts. Kenmere Nicola MCS N56E has a line of four females.
In 2004 when we began rebuilding and concentrated our breeding on original lines from the Kenmere herd. Kenmere Nicola MCS D19E already producing calves and the other females to begin their production in our herd during 2013.
Since arriving at Kenmere Radiance has produced fine heifers who are all good breeders along with Kenmere Radiator MCS E90E who during 2011 was placed 1st in all events he showed in and finished his career in Melbourne being the Charolais Reserve Champion.
Radiator is now working amongst our cattle and we look forward his progeny both male and female.
At our first sale in 2012 Perlina owned one of our top selling bulls and will again produce a great bull for the 2013 sale.
This young heifer will carry her Grandmother’s name Kenmere Navarro MCS H64E KENMERE TOURMALINE KNC T48E Tourmaline has two females direct from her line within our herd.
Tourmaline was a great polled female with great length and body. She was the daughter of the great Ballen gara Sherbet and Coates Lezard.
She has left a female line to continue within our herd.
During 2013 a heifer to her daughter Kenmere Bianca MCS B14E will be in our show team.
